Avène Couvrance: a pretty finish, but not for my skin
Rating 3/5: pretty finish, bad reaction

Avène Couvrance is a corrective liquid foundation from the pharmacy, made specifically for sensitive skin. Ideal for rosacea on paper, but it didn't stay in my routine.
What the brand says
- A corrective liquid foundation that covers mild to moderate imperfections and evens out the complexion for a natural, radiant look.
- SPF 20 with mineral filters (zinc oxide and titanium dioxide), water- and sweat-resistant.
- Vitamin E to protect against light-induced skin ageing.
- For sensitive skin, in the shades Porcelain, Natural, Sand and Honey.
My experience
The finish is pretty, I have to admit: the skin looks even and redness is well covered.
The first problem is the shade. There's no very light shade like the one I need, so it always looked a little too dark on my face.
The second problem is more serious. I think it caused papules and pustules, those inflamed bumps we all want to avoid with rosacea. As soon as I noticed, I stopped using it straight away. I can't say for certain it was the culprit, but I didn't want to risk it.
Who is it for
For sensitive skin with a fair to medium complexion that needs redness coverage and doesn't react with inflamed bumps. If you have rosacea with papules, patch test it carefully on a small area.
